🚨 Real story. Real danger. Please stay alert.
I hesitated before sharing this — but if it can protect even one person, it’s worth it.
Yesterday, after lunch with a friend at a restaurant just outside the city, I walked back to my car alone. As I got in, I noticed something odd:
a €50 bill tucked under my passenger-side windshield wiper.
At first, I was surprised.
Then a warning bell went off in my head.
I had read about scams involving exactly this.
So I stayed in the car.
And locked the doors.
Seconds later, a man appeared.
He walked straight toward my door and pointed to the bill, motioning for me to get out.
I didn’t.
He seemed annoyed. Persistent.
But I didn’t open the door.
I didn’t move.
I just started the car and drove away.
🔎 When I Got Home
The bill looked strange. I slipped it into an envelope.
My partner and I both washed our hands just in case.
I plan to take it to the bank to check if it’s authentic.
But more importantly — I reported the incident to the police.
Later that evening, I searched online.
And found several stories describing the same thing.
